You can practise your milking technique on the museum's wooden cow, and learn how dairying technology now includes milking machines and robotic milkers. Help make ice cream with an old-fashioned manual ice cream maker, then taste the fruits of your labour. Step back in time to the 1950s and discover the history of ice cream scoops and sundaes, including a sample of this delicious treat. Other activities include crowd-pleasing performances by Capital Jumpers, a dance party with DJ Rico, and a photo booth! Also on the schedule are samplings of sorbet floats, and a kids' corner with crafts and games. A variety of food services and local ice cream vendors will be on site.
