June 2, 2019 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Jessyca is a following a double degree (English and Music) at Carleton University, studying with Ottawa's own Maghan McPhee. She has also studied with Cara Gilbertson at The Bytown School of Singing and at the University of Ottawa with Christiane Riel. While Jessyca's career is pointing her towards a Law degree, her passion is to sing, especially in a choral setting. She is currently the Section Lead at Rideau Park United Church and sings with both the Cantata Singers of Ottawa and The Ottawa Choral Society. She spent a part of last summer in Spain studying with the Tallis Scholars and later this year will travel to England to work in the summer program with VOCES8.Jessyca is quite excited to be associated with Andrew Ager's production of his opera Frankenstein presented to celebrate the 200 Anniversary of the story next October in conjunction with the Carleton University English Department's Conference "The Gothic, the Abject and the Supernatural: 200 Years of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein".. 531 Sussex DriveOttawa, ON K1N 5S6..
