A dedicated team of local volunteers have planned a rich program of amateur and professional shows, film, flashmob dance, and flamenco bazaar.The festival kicks off in style with Flashmob Flamenco, a street performance in Byward Market, followed by the official festival opening at Pressed coffeehouse with the premiere of a documentary on the origins and the influence of flamenco.Friday, brings a flamenco bazaar and local talent show at Cabaret la Basoche, showcasing the richness of the local flamenco scene in Ottawa-Gatineau.
