Celebrate Black History Month

February 9, 2017 6:00 pm to 11:45 pm. To celebrate black history month and to warm up the month of February, Bravo–east and the artists of pentadécagone invite you to an African party (panel discussion in French, food, music and more).Five Canadian artists paired with five artists from Francophone Africa from the pentadécagone art project invite you to an evening of discussion on the African values versus Canadian values. Following the discussion, there will be a party to warm up the Canadian winter. The ten artists drew on their respective traditions and origins in order to allow the public here and abroad to answer five questions that run through the story, and who live like knots of contradictions. The content of the videos references both Francophone Ontario and Francophone Africa. The African ideas refer to French-Canadian ideas and vice-versa.
