LynneART Face & Body Art is a cheeky way to wear your love of winter. Prepare to be painted!OYP Theatre School students present Roch Carrier's beloved Canadian Classic, The Hockey Sweater.Take part in a Winter Scene Community Painting with the Ottawa School of Art to be exhibited on their Wall Gallery. Or, go outdoors and catch a beautiful paper fish emerging from the ice and snow.French-Canadian folk music brightens the morning with up-beat jigs by La Ridaine.Put on your dancing shoes for swing music from the '20s, '30s and '40s with Glebop Jazz Band and learn a few steps with the Side Street Swing dance troupe.Sing along with Cameroon musician Wise Atangana as he presents his collection of African lullabies.Feel the heartbeat of the drum and honour the beauty of indigenous cultural dance with Spirit of Dance. Celebrate together and join in on the friendship dance.Be sure to look up – and not just to catch snowflakes!
