To mark the 10th anniversary of his death, the Alliance Française d'Ottawa (AFO) is presenting a series of three films featuring this great actor who left his mark on the history of French cinema."Un Nuage Entre Les Dents (1974)" [A Cloud in the Teeth] Malisard (P. Noiret) and Prévot (P. Richard) are reporters for a major newspaper. They normally get small-time assignments, like covering accidents and petty crimes. In the midst of an investigation, overwhelmed with work, Prévot has to pick up his two young sons at school. The boys take advantage of his tardiness to slip away. Prévot and Malisard soon realize the boys are missing and are convinced it is a kidnapping
After the screening, there will be a discussion led by Maurice Graffin, our in-house film expert and member of the board of directors of the AFO. Maurice is a retired teacher who has long been involved in the world of cinema.
