Le Vent du Nord

Not only regarded as incomparable ambassadors of French culture, Le Vent du Nord is a driving force behind Quebec's progressive folk movement, as well as a key group in the renaissance of Quebec's traditional music. Since 2002, the band has experienced a meteoric rise. They've played over 1,800 concerts on 5 continents, released 8 albums and have been the recipient of many prestigious awards, including a Charles Cros Grand Prix (France), two Juno Awards (Canada) and an award-winning Artist of the year both at the North American Folk Alliance Conference, and the Canadian Folk Music Awards!In 2015, they won a Félix at the Association québécoise de l'industrie du disque with their most recent opus Têtu and, in recognition of their international broadcast work, Le Vent du Nord became the first recipient of the Transatlantic Pont Award presented jointly by BabelMed / Mundial Montréal.. 53 Elgin StreetOttawa, ON K1P 5W1..
